In a rare deadly shooting in the affluent San Francisco suburb of Orinda, a man was killed and a woman was injured early Sunday, police said.
The shooting happened around 1 a.m. in the 1100 block of Camino Sobrante, according to the Orinda Police Department. When officers arrived, they found a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police said they have arrested a suspect in the shooting, but have not released his name or any information about his relationship to the victims.
