Rosamund Pike To Star In Corporate Thriller Series Thumblite

Rosamund Pike is attached to star in "Thumblite," a corporate thriller TV series that is currently in development at Amazon Studios and Blumhouse TV.

The series is being created by writer and executive producer Janine Nabers ("Watchmen," "The Leftovers") and will be executive produced by Pike and Greg Yaitanes ("Maniac," "Banshee").

Plot Summary:

The series follows "a brilliant woman who rises to the top of a male-dominated tech company only to find herself thrust into a high-stakes game of cat and mouse with a mysterious figure from her past."

Pike will play the lead role of Jenny, who becomes the CEO of the company after her predecessor dies suddenly.

However, Jenny soon discovers that the company is not what it seems and that she is being watched by a shadowy figure who knows her dark secrets.

The series is said to be a "smart, suspenseful and timely thriller" that will explore themes of power, ambition and the dangers of unchecked power.

No release date has been set for "Thumblite," but it is expected to premiere on Amazon Prime Video in 2024.
